When to prepare it?

Once your manuscript is accepted, the journal will produce your visual for a small fee, in addition to the APC, at the time of article acceptance.

• Infographic creation will begin at article acceptance. The author must alert the managing editor if an infographic creation is desired. The author must approve the infographic, produced by the journal, to be included with the article version of record in 24-48 hours. 

Where will the published infographic appear? 
The Infographic will be embedded in the HTML article format underneath the abstract of the appropriate journal. It will also be hosted as Supplementary Material and should be cited in the main text, to enhance awareness, access and shareability.

Creating the infographic

• You can send images (free from copyright infringement), to be used for infographic creation 
• The managing editor will share a first draft with you within 24-48 hours of payment 
• You will review and approve the infographic. Minor changes can be requested free of charge. Significant changes will incur a fee.
• Final files will be produced for the article version of record.
