Dr. Chughtai is a London based Orthopaedic Surgeon and Digital Health Strategist whose career bridges clinical excellence with AI powered transformation. As a global leader in AI governance, telehealth integration, and clinical workflow innovation, his appointment marks a new era for THMT’s mission to advance intelligent, ethical, and connected care.

In addition to his clinical leadership, Dr. Chughtai serves as:

• CTO & Chief Medical Innovation Officer, The Health Bank Global, Dubai

Much of Dr. Chughtai’s recent work centers on developing Clinical Telemedicine as a distinct discipline — virtualizing clinical workflow steps within telehealth frameworks for seamless system integration. He has designed Virtual Hospital and remote monitoring software, led international telehealth projects, and is currently developing an AI driven Clinical Decision Support System integrated Telehealth Software, scheduled for market release in 2026. His contributions to telehealth innovation have been featured by the BBC.
