In 2026, the Council will launch its first flagship initiative: The Virtual Care Readiness Index, an annual benchmarking study that evaluates virtual care maturity across health systems, payers, life sciences, telehealth providers, and technology partners. Members will help guide survey design, outreach, data interpretation, and publication of the official Index report.
